Heartbreak in Bollywood: Shefali Jariwala Passes Away Suddenly at 42

 India – June 28, 2025 Shefali Jariwala, the popular actress and dancer best known for her iconic "Kaanta Laga" music video and her stint on "Bigg Boss 13," has tragically passed away. She was 42 years old.

Initial reports from multiple sources suggest that Jariwala died due to a cardiac arrest on Friday night, June 27, 2025, at her residence in Mumbai. She was reportedly rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and three others. However, hospital authorities declared her "brought dead," indicating she had passed away before reaching the medical facility. Her body was subsequently sent to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem examination.

As of Saturday morning, June 28, the exact cause of her death has not been officially confirmed by her family or the hospital, pending the postmortem report. Mumbai Police have also stated that they are investigating the case and the cause of death is "not yet clear." Police officials and a forensic team were seen arriving at her residence in the Andheri area and at Cooper Hospital.

The news of her sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry and among her fans. Tributes and condolences have begun pouring in from fellow celebrities and colleagues, expressing their grief and disbelief at the untimely loss.

Shefali Jariwala rose to immense fame in the early 2000s with the superhit remix song "Kaanta Laga," which made her a household name. She also participated in several reality shows, including "Nach Baliye" and "Bigg Boss 13," where she was a prominent contestant and known for her strong personality. She was married to singer Harmeet Singh from 2004 to 2009 and later married actor Parag Tyagi in 2014.

Her last public social media post was reportedly a stunning photoshoot shared just three days before her passing. The suddenness of her death at a relatively young age has particularly highlighted concerns about cardiac health among younger individuals.
